WHEN:
Saturday 11/17/18, 11:00am – 1:00pm

WHERE:
Serra Subaru of Traverse City – 1747 S. Garfield Ave. Traverse City, MI 49686  (231) 933-3580

WHAT:
Serra Subaru of Traverse City will be hosting a Meet & Greet inside the showroom of the Serra Subaru Building to raise awareness about the charitable work done by Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center. There will be snacks and representatives from their organization on hand to discuss the unique ways they help people in need across our local communities. The Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center will be bringing their Volunteer Dog, Jeeves. They will also have a small holiday tree with ornaments made by children on display at the dealership through January 2nd. Individuals who purchase or lease a Subaru can take an ornament.

Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center is the local charity that Serra Subaru has selected to receive donations accumulated during Subaru Share the Love® Event. Subaru of America, Inc. donates $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased between November 15, 2018 and January 2, 2019. All those who buy or lease from Serra Subaru during these dates will be able to select what charity the $250 donation made on their behalf will go to (at no cost to the customer), including our local Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center, as well as four national charities – ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish ®, Meals on Wheels America® and The National Park Foundation. The event was established in 2008 by Subaru of America, Inc. as a way to bring Subaru owners together to make a difference in the community. For a third year in a row, there will be no cap on the total donation from SOA to its Subaru Share the Love Event charitable partners. At the culmination of this year, SOA and its retailers hope to exceed a grand total of $140 million donated since the creation of the Subaru Share the Love Event.

Serra is taking Share the Love one step further by providing a platform on November 17 for Subaru buyers and the general public to hear directly from the actual local organization benefiting from this fundraising and learn more about the good things Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center does for our community. Everyone is welcome.
